Testimony Of The Month from Bernard Juru #hlfAT20 #TOTM

I thank God for being raised as a history maker, in 2010 i was awarded a once in a lifetime opportunity to study at Monash University South Africa. Through this beautiful opportunity in 2011-2012 i was voted into Monash University Students Association board where i served as a Sports Liaison Officer for a year!

In 2014 i graduated with a bachelor of Social Sciences degree but i decided to pursue my passion of entrepreneurship and business and that led me to join Muzinda Hub at the end of 2014. At Muzinda Hub i recruited and coordinated the training of 1000 youths through the Muzinda Digital Skills Training Program. In 2015 i attended the Global Entrepreneurship Summit which was hosted by the US President Barack Obama and his Kenyan counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta where i had the privilege of talking to Dr Strive Masiyiwa as well as meet other business leaders in the world.

In March 2016 i qualified as a Mandela Washington Fellow through the Young African Leaders Initiative program which is facilitated by the US State of Department and President Barack Obama. In June 2016 i will be travelling to Lincoln University Missouri to do training in Business and Entrepreneurship with which i hope to learn more skills and then come back to share and inspire many others in my home country and the region.

I thank Higher life foundation for the role they played in all i have done and achieved in my life, they certainly managed to provide a solid foundation for me build my life on and for that i am forever grateful!
