I’m Blaise from Burundi and I am 25 years old. This is my testimony of how Higherlife Foundation touched my life. Higherlife Foundation gave me the meaning of life and has helped me believe that I can be anything I aspire to be through God. I received a Higherlife Foundation scholarship in Burundi in 2013. This programme taught me how to be a leader as well as an entrepreneur.
That same year I managed to create an association which promotes Tourism in Burundi with the help of Higherlife Foundation tutors. With this association I managed to organise many conferences at different tourist sites in Burundi with the aim of developing and promoting of my lovely country, Burundi.
In 2015 as a freshman in college I became Bible club leader at my University and in 2016 I became part of the “WHAT IF…?360 INNOVATION” in Burundi. WHAT IF 360 INNOVATION is a community of students from universities around the world who turn ideas into actions and I believe that through this initiative we can convert Africa’s potential into something tangible for the benefit of the continent and its people.
I want to thank Higherlife Foundation for giving me the platform to achieve all these things and help me realize that I am capable of achieving anything I put my mind to.
