  • STAR Leadership Academy alumni record 100 percent pass rate

We proudly announce that students who graduated from the STAR Leadership Academy Class of 2021 recorded impressive grades in their Cambridge Advanced Level examinations.
The results, released earlier this week, indicate a 100 % pass rate, with most candidates attaining above-average returns. Among the 29 students, there were record-breaking results summarising the outstanding collective performance.

Andrew Gorondondo

Andrew Gorondondo, who was at Gateway, made history by being the first SLA alumni to sit for five Advanced-Level examinations and scored 25 points (four A*s and an A). Michael Zivanai from Gateway recorded 18 points, 2As and 2Bs. Charity Chauke, Tanaka Mumhazha and Lebohang Kome got 15 points each, recording 2As, 1A, 3A*s and 3As respectively. They were all doing STEM subjects.

Four students had 14 points; the rest had different grades falling within the above-average spectrum.
The STAR Leadership Academy would like to salute the students for their hard work and commitment to upholding the values of excellence they were taught at the institution. They are well on course to become the leaders they have always been destined to be.

We want to thank partner schools whose hard work has brought the immense potential identified and nurtured in these STAR Leadership Academy alumni to life.
We wish all our alumni the best in their journeys and stand ready to continue offering them support as they pursue their dreams.
